My philosophy about art is simple, it’s about giving yourself to the moment

and fearlessly making decisions and making statements in a joyful state of mind.

My goal is for everyone to leave the class with a smile on their face!

 

In my art classes, students learn to create using media like pencils, ink pens, brushes,

colored markers, oil pastels, watercolor and acrylic paint. Students learn to create pictures by using lines and shapes.They learn about composition, contrast, perspective, color, value, texture and shading to make objects look three-dimensional. 

I’ve taught art for 15 years at at Rolling Hills Country Day School, Palos Verdes Art Center,

and The Gemma Art Academy. I’m available for private lessons and events. ​
